Among the hundreds of people who benefit from our services each year, are many hurting pastors and their families. Does that surprise you? It shouldn't. In addition to the daily pressures of ministry that are a part of every pastor's job description, there are challenges most people don't face -- such as inadequate pay, despite long hours of service; the difficulty of finding anyone to safely confide in; and the stigma of sharing with anyone (other than God) about problems and struggles.
In light of the special needs of pastors, Lighthouse is honored to be a member of PastorCare, Inc., a national clergy support network dedicated to encouraging and under girding spiritual leaders. PastorCare has a 13-year track record of helping pastors locate affordable assistance in several areas including Christian counseling, legal aid, health care, mentoring and hospitality hosts (retreat get aways). Pastor Care also links pastors to interim employment opportunities and prayer intercessors.
